Welcome

Welcome to my new "CaringBridge" site! Needless to say, I stopped keeping up with my CaringBridge website last year. Life had taken over again and I just forgot to keep up with the updates. I've decided that it is time to move on! Until now, I have had some sort of mental block when it comes to actually "logging off" of my CaringBridge website. June 26, 2009(my last day of treatment for Hodgkin's Lymphoma) was what I considered my 1 year anniversary. I felt like I would jinx myself if I "logged off" too soon. Now that I have passed that mental date...I am on to better things!
Health update: My last PET scan was in May 2009 and came back "clean!" My oncologists said that my bloodwork/scans looked good and I wouldn't have to report back for another 3+ months and no scans until November 2009. Oh...but they would send me a nice birthday gift..a mammogram appointment. I get to have those yearly because of the radiation..Great!! I only have 2 side effects that are still lingering: 1) electrical shocks (L'Hermittes syndrome), and 2) endurance! I feel both of these when I'm running. And as most of you know by now.....I am doing a lot of running!
